Liver Cleanse Suggested Protocol
LIVER / GALLBLADDER CLEANSE

Important:
Information from Dr Edward Group at the Healing for The Ages Conference April 2024:
Cleansing the liver is VITAL to do – it is the body’s detox organ.  
Most people’s livers only function at around 10% of full capacity.
He suggests even doing a liver cleanse every 2 weeks in order to revert and restore.

1. Liver Cleanse Kit

2. Liver Cleanse
1 Tblsp olive oil
1 Tblsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Dash of Cayenne Pepper

Put into a small glass and drink it straight down!

Herxheimer effect

One may experience Herxheimer** effects while undertaking these protocols. It basically means that the body is struggling to keep up with the elimination of these multitudes of critters and their waste products!
Don’t panic if you feel nauseous at any time or experience diarrhoea.
Be sure to drink plenty of clean water (MMS serves this purpose) and make use of our many Toxin Binders, as covered herebelow

**The Herxheimer response is a natural bodily process triggered by a greater prevalence of endotoxins. These substances are released when harmful microorganisms and bacteria are destroyed or die off. As damaging bacteria are destroyed, they release previously contained endotoxins into the bloodstream.

Toxin Binders :

These products will literally bind to the toxins, parasites and pathogens, assisting with their elimination from the body.

When your body is working correctly, the intestines, gallbladder, and liver all work together to break down and eliminate toxins.
Unfortunately, many people have compromised detoxification pathways, meaning, their bodies are unable to effectively process and excrete toxins.

Without the use of binders, the body may be prone to “enterohepatic re-circulation.”
This happens when toxins are not “bound” for excretion through the bowels and instead go through continuous cycles of processing by the liver, re-absorption by the intestines and then re-circulation by the liver.

This repeated process puts a massive amount of strain on the body as it works to detoxify itself.
Binders help to prevent this repeat cycle..

One can effectively clean out toxin build-up and stop enterohepatic* re-circulation by using binders while detoxing the body.
Binders also induce the removal of biofilms* that cause dysbiosis* in the gut—meaning, the gut has more harmful than beneficial bacteria.
Binders attach to the toxins to prevent re-absorption and enhance elimination.

Definitions

*Pathogens
Infectious diseases are caused by pathogens, which include bacteria, fungi, protozoa, worms and viruses. Pathogens of all classes must have mechanisms for entering their host and for evading immediate destructionj by the host immune system

*Biofilms
A biofilm forms when certain microorganisms (for example, some types of bacteria) adhere to the surface of some object in a moist environment and begin to reproduce. The micro-organisms form an attachment to the surface of the object by secreting a slimy, glue-like substance

*Enterohepatic
Of or involving the intestine and the liver

*Dysbiosis
Dysbiosis is defined by an imbalance in bacterial composition, changes in bacteria within the gut. The three types of dysbiosis are: 1) Loss of beneficial bacteria, 2) Overgrowth of potentially pathogenic bacteria, and 3) Loss of overall bacterial diversity.

1. Diatomaceous Earth

1 Teaspoon in a glass of pure water. 

This should be taken one hour before or after food, supplements or medications.

D/E is truly an amazing and versatile natural binder.

2. Activated Charcoal

Take 3 quick release capsules (or equivalent in powder form) at least one hour after meals. Please do not exceed 6 quick release capsules.
Activated Charcoal is one of the world’s most highly regarded detoxification substances.
This binder does not discriminate and will also bind to your food.

This too, should therefore, be taken one hour on either side of food, supplements or medications.
Follow label usage instructions.

3. Zeolite Powder (Clino Ultrafine)

Large amounts of research have been done on all the possible benefits of detoxing with Zeolite and studies show that they appear to balance pH within the body, reduce allergies, act as antioxidants, and aid liver function [1].

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
We strongly suggest that every household should have activated charcoal on hand for acute issues like food poisoning or if you are experiencing severe Herxheimer reactions from detoxing.

However, it’s not recommended as an everyday binder, but rather for an emergency or quick turnaround, e.g. with diarrhoea or food poisoning.
Also for pets who may have encountered poison or eaten chocolate etc

Just a reminder:
Important

As parasites die, they release toxins through their excrement and from rotting.

The most common parasites, the worm type, attempt to escape by burrowing deeper into the intestines, which may cause sharp pains and cramps.

Even when the parasites are dead, the human body is still burdened with the task of flushing them out.

Please note:
This whole process may initially make the person feel worse than before having begun the cleanse, but this is only temporary and it is a sign that the cleanse is working.
While fatigue and grogginess are also possible, normal life may be continued, and diarrhoea should not occur.

Please be sure to consume a good, wholesome diet throughout the cleanse to ensure that your immune system is at its strongest.

After the cleanse process, you should feel better and have more energy.
People have been known to completely lose their cravings for sugar, chocolate and other unhealthy items.

It is strongly recommended that any parasite cleanse is followed up with a liver cleanse and then a further parasite cleanse within three weeks of completing the first parasite protocol.
This is to ensure that the parasite hatchlings emerging from ‘gazillions’ of eggs laid by the dying parasites do not re-infest the body
