Earache gone overnight!

I had a terrible ear-ache about a month ago and remembered my favourite colloidal silver products. I applied a couple of sprays into my ear and then placed a cottonwool ball over it for the night. By morning the earache was gone completely and has not returned. I love BIO-SIL products!
WE Cape Town

A blessed product indeed

The MMS has been joyously effective to a friend of mine to whom I gave it on 14th December. He is a cancer sufferer. I mixed the first take of the protocol so that he could see how it is done according to the instructions. He contacted me after two weeks to me with ecstatic good news. Thirty minutes, he says, after the second take of the protocol he began to experience a radical change in his condition; he regained his voice which he could only use in a whisper for the previous six months, he back pain was gone after an ineffective prescription on the strongest of morphine, he regained his eyesight after being unable to drive his car even with glasses and, whereas, he was out of breath after a 50m walk, he now deliberately walks 12km every morning. I want to order more.

ALL IN ONE POWDER

EXCELLENT!

Visible results

This acne pack is great. I haven't tried drinking the the toner, but I could see visible results in a month or so of using it. It may be a little harsh for people with sensitive skin, but nothing moringa oil can't fix. It can dry out your skin a little bit but a small price to pay for the results.

A turmeric smoothie with a flavor-enhancer

I have always added turmeric to cooked food and I have never used it in a raw dish. When I came across this recipe in one of my old cook books for a turmeric smoothie that uses turmeric powder, I wanted to try it. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it, the smoothie was delicious. It is also the perfect breakfast food and can be made very quickly, especially if you

I tried the smoothie with both organic whole milk and coconut milk and I liked both versions. If you are allergic to dairy, try the coconut milk. This smoothie also contains bananas and blanched almonds, the perfect ingredients that fill us and keep us satisfied until our next meal.

The only problem with adding turmeric powder to smoothies is the sharp flavor of turmeric, especially if you are adding more than a few pinches. Some people don’t mind the flavor, but if it is keeping you from making turmeric smoothies, the best solution is to boil the milk with turmeric powder for a few minutes to cut the sharpness, let it cool, and then make the smoothie. Boiling milk with turmeric powder takes away the flavor and smell that most people dislike. During the summer, when the mangoes are in season, you can substitute mangoes for the bananas and make a mango turmeric smoothie. In fact, you can substitute bananas with any one of your favorite fruits. Regular consumption of this turmeric smoothie may help purify your blood and keep your digestion in peak order.

Turmeric Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 cup of whole milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 ripe banana (or favorite fruit)
  • 6 almonds
  • Honey, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional)

Turmeric Smoothie Steps

  1. Soak almonds in water for a few hours and remove the skin.
  2. Boil the milk along with turmeric powder for a few minutes and let it cool. You can also use the turmeric powder directly, if you donäó»t mind the flavor and smell.
  3. In a blender, first blend the blanched almonds along with little bit of the cooled milk until you get a smooth paste. Add in the ripe banana, honey, cinnamon powder, the rest of the milk, and vanilla. Blend until you get a smooth mixture. Enjoy!

Make sure to grind the blanched almonds well, before adding the rest of the ingredients. You can leave out the cinnamon powder, if you donäó»t like the smell of cinnamon.I tried the smoothie with both organic whole milk and coconut milk and I liked both versions. TREATMENT OF JOINT PROBLEMS

Proven and tested

We take the freedom of movement for granted, until it becomes limited. The cause of this for many people comes in the form of arthritis, or the inflammation of one or more of your joints. There are two main kinds, osteo and rheumatoid, both of which affect the joint in different ways. Osteo arthritis is when the cartilage between bones wears down, until bone grates on bone. Rheumatoid is little less straightforward, being caused by an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation of the synovial membrane (a soft tissue that protects joints in the body) and that can lead to bone loss. Whichever you experience, there are natural remedies for arthritis to manage the pain and ease the symptoms.

1. Turmeric & Ginger Tea

Turmeric and ginger are both anti-inflammatorys, and will help with oseto and rheumatoid arthritis. Turmeric in particular has gotten a lot of attention lately. Its active ingredient is something called curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant. In addition, it lowers the levels of 2 enzymes responsible for causing inflammation (which is what we’re often fighting with arthritis.) You can take these in a capsule form or make a nice spicy tea to enjoy daily.

You will need…

-2 cups of water

-1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

-1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

-Honey to taste

Directions

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, and had ½ teaspoon each ground ginger and ground turmeric. Reduce to a simmer and let it be for 10-15 minutes. Strain, add honey to taste, and enjoy twice daily. This yields 2 servings.

Turmeric Powder / Health Benefits of Turmeric
Health Benefits of Turmeric

The wide range of turmeric health benefits come mainly from its main ingredient, curcumin. This widely researched component of turmeric is highly therapeutic and is used in various drugs and pharmaceutics mainly because of its immunity boosting and anti-oxidant properties.

Boosting Immunity: Curcumin has a huge therapeutic value and boosting immunity is one of the most important properties of curcumin.

5 to 8 times stronger than vitamin E and stronger than vitamin C, this antioxidant breakthrough may help boost your immunity, maintain normal cholesterol levels, and put the brakes on ageing? says Dr. Joseph Mercola.

His claims are well substantiated by various studies. For example, Jagetia and Aggarwal at the Department of Experimental Therapeutics, The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA, reported – “Interestingly, curcumin at low doses can also enhance antibody responses. This suggests that curcumin’s reported beneficial effects in arthritis, allergy, asthma, atherosclerosis, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, and cancer might be due in part to its ability to modulate the immune system.”

Anti-inflammatory and Anti-oxidant Property äóñ Free radical causing oxidative damage of DNA and proteins are associated with a variety of chronic diseases such as cancer, atherosclerosis, and neurodegenerative diseases. Curcumin plays an important role in curbing these conditions. Curcumin down-regulates certain inflammatory transcription factors such as kappaB, enzymes such as cyclooxygenase 2 and 5 lipoxygenase, and cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF), interleukin-1 (IL-1) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) and hinders the development of these diseases.

Curcumin Protects Against Certain Liver Diseases as is evident from various studies conducted in rats. For example, a Mexican study showed that curcumin prevents acute liver damage by at least two mechanisms: acting as an antioxidant and by inhibiting NF-kappaB activation and thus production of proinflammatory cytokines. Another study published in the Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology journal revealed that curcumin was effective in preventing and reversing cirrhosis, probably by its ability of reducing TGF-beta expression. These data suggest that curcumin might be an effective antifibrotic and fibrolytic drug in the treatment of chronic hepatic diseases.

Health Benefits of Turmeric: Liver Diseases

Curcumin Prevents the Development of Type 2 Diabetes in people who have pre-diabetes. This has been shown in a Thai study published in the journal Diabetes Care where the researchers found that people with prediabetes who took capsules containing curcumin were less likely to go on to develop type 2 diabetes compared with people who didn’t take the curcumin capsules. The reason, says Drew Tortoriello, an endocrinologist and research scientist at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center, is that turmeric lessens insulin resistance and prevents type2 diabetes. Curcumin, however, is not readily bioavailable; it makes sense to regularly add turmeric powder to the food even for people who are not prediabetic.

WEIGHT LOSS

Curcumin Helps Promote Weight Loss and reduce the incidence of obesity-related diseases. The inflammation associated with obesity is due in part to the presence of immune cells called macrophages in fat tissues throughout the body. These cells produce cytokines that can cause inflammation in organs such as the heart, and islets of the pancreas, while also increasing insulin resistance in muscle and liver. Scientists believe that turmeric suppresses the number and activity of these cells, and help reduce some of the adverse consequences of obesity.

Turmeric Improves Rheumatoid Arthritis, according to a study by Chandran and Goel at Nirmala Medical Center, Kerala. The researchers also found that curcumin treatment was safe and did not relate with any adverse events.

Health Benefits of Turmeric: Rheumatoid Arthritis

Treating sprains and swellings with a pinch of turmeric powder, lime and salt is an age-old home remedy practiced throughout India.

Turmeric powder is an effective home remedy for chronic cough and cold and throat irritations.

Curcumin in turmeric has a potential role in the prevention and treatment of

Alzheimers disease, according to a study published in the Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology. Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive cognitive deterioration together with declining activities of daily living and behavioral changes. Various effects of curcumin, such as decreased Beta-amyloid plaques, delayed degradation of neurons, metal-chelation, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant property, improve overall memory in Alzheimers patients.

Health Benefits of Turmeric: Alzheimer's Disease

Researchers from Cancer Biology Research Center, South Dakota, claim that curcumin may be an effective chemopreventive and therapeutic agent for cervical cancer prevention and treatment. They found that curcumin treatment suppresses cervical cancer cell growth by altering the HPV-associated molecular pathways in cervical cancer cells.
