Dr. Orlando Rojas was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Colombian College of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation, he practiced privately while lecturing part-time at his alma mater.
In April 1990, Dr. Rojas relocated to Pretoria, South Africa, where he validated his degree with the South African Medical and Dental Council. He continued lecturing and furthering his studies at the Medical University of South Africa until 1999, lecturing both locally and internationally, and actively participating in the International Association for Dental Research (IADR-SA).
With over 35 years of experience in mercury toxicity and more than 25 years focusing on liners and composite resin toxicity, Dr. Rojas approaches dentistry with a holistic, patient centered mind-set, seeing patients as whole human beings, not just teeth.
