A natural remedy, used since the oldest of times, by the Amish community

For anything that appears topically, such as a strange sore, or a bite,  apply this ointment immediately.
It works!
In the Amish community, this is known as “Hilla Schemer” or the “healing smear,” being used for the removal of toxins and also of foreign objects, such as wooden splinters or metal, from the skin

Face maskAmish Drawing Balm can also be used as a wonderful enhancing face mask.  Apply to the face and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.  Repeat this weekly.

Spotty skinTo help clear a spotty skin,  one can apply this healing balm as a face mask or anywhere the acne is, leaving it on for 15 mins –  then using a face cloth with warm water to gently remove.   A natural face wash may then be used to remove any residue.  After this apply a natural face serum. such as Skin Soother  ( as the pores will be open and receptive
Deep facial cleanse:   Apply and leave it to form a light crust. This has been used for breast cancer but will need supervision by a practitioner who is familiar with this product
Leg ulcers:  This product has successfully been used in combination with Natural Solutions’ Cardio Heart Health capsules
Skin tags and Boils: This is one of the ways to remove them as it draws pus to the surface and stimulates healing of the skin.  It is recommended for the removal of *thorns and *glass shards, as well as for the treatment of *cystic acne  *insect and *spider bites.
If you have had a nasty encounter with *poison ivy or oak, you can use this healing salve with confidence.   Ingrown toenails have also been treated with this natural remedy.
Splinters and thorns
If this balm becomes liquid put into the fridge to Harden.  Should be stored in a cool dark area.
It is applied and then covered, and as it is a gentle version of black salve it will take more time to draw out the thorns than overnight.
Black salve is quicker, a recent client had a deep piece of glass in her foot, it took three days with the black salve on the area to draw it out.
Try again maybe reapply each evening, wrap up and note changes.  This balm has been used for drain out pus, boils, and even open cancer so it is effective but not a quick fix.

Castor Oil – anti inflammatory, skin moisturising, reduces acne, and has ability to enter below skin surface to break down problems
Activated Charcoal – pulls out toxins and foreign bodies from the level of the skin, reduces stinging sensations in case of poison, purifies
Bentonite Clay – similar to the activated charcoal, helps to ensure a non greasy consistency of the ointment
Calendula, Olive Oil – Anti inflammatory, skin moisturising, antibacterial, stipulates healing
Raw Honey – helps clean skin problems, and allows faster healing of the skin,  helps naturally bind the ingredients together whilst providing essential ingredients that help heal skin issues
Red Clover, Chaparral, Plantain, Poke Root, Chickweed – these herbs are excellent skin conditioning, blood purifying herbs helping to draw out poisons and toxins from below the skin level
Frankincense and Lavender Essential Oils both heal skin issues, and allow for faster healing

Testimonials for this balm

  1.  “I use this once a month as a face mask, and my skin is glowing and clear now.  I used to have breakouts and rashes on my face.  Highly recommended.”  Jenna

2.  “I have had a leg ulcer which no one has been able to help me heal.  I have been using this ointment along with Natural Solutions Arteries, Natural Solutions Cayenne and Natural Solutions Cardio Heart Health and three months later my leg ulcer has healed.

Not only this but my veins are also much less visible on my legs.”  Evelyn

3.  “I used Natural Solutions Amish Ointment on my husband’s neck, which has had a nasty wound there for a while.  No one was able to help him with this.  This ointment draws out poisons and after a few days of using it the problem from very deep surfaced, a terrible smell was apparent, but the wound has gone now from the pus and plasma to healing and closing up nicely”. BT

4.  “I found a palm sized welt on my leg, which could have been an insect bite from working in the garden.  It was angry red, raised and itching like crazy.   After a couple of days using remedies I thought would work but with no visible or tactile change, I was guided to apply this Amish Balm – I covered and bandaged it.   Within three hours it was half the size, no longer red and the itching had stopped completely.   Completely healed within a couple of days of this process.   LC

Note:  Doctors are using this for areas that have been treated medically but where the wound has not healed over.  It is excellent in this instance

I battled with what could have been a spider bite – a large raised, angry red swelling on my leg with itched like crazy for a couple of days and then had the thought to apply this wonderful balm. Within hours the swelling had subsided, together with the redness and the itching has stopped altogether. Amazing!
