Jerm Warfare interviews Danny Carroll
German New Medicine (GNM) is a system of understanding disease and health developed by German medical doctor Ryke Geerd Hamer in the early 1980s. It is based on the premise that every emotional conflict or traumatic experience can trigger a biological response, leading to physical symptoms and diseases.
According to GNM, when an individual experiences an unexpected and traumatic event, such as a shock or conflict, the brain initiates a Special Biological Program (SBP) to cope with the emotional distress. This SBP can manifest as physical symptoms, which, if left unresolved, can develop into chronic diseases.
GNM identifies five biological laws that govern this process:
- Conflict Shock: The initial traumatic event triggers the SBP.
- Biological Program: The brain initiates a specific response to cope with the emotional distress.
- Organ Specificity: Each organ or system in the body is linked to a specific emotional conflict or trauma.
- Time Factor: The duration and timing of the conflict shock determine the development and progression of the disease.
- Healing Factor: The resolution of the emotional conflict or trauma can lead to healing and recovery.
GNM practitioners use this understanding to help patients identify and resolve underlying emotional conflicts, allowing the body to heal naturally. The approach combines elements of conventional medicine, naturopathy, and psychology, and is often used in conjunction with other therapies, such as counseling and meditation.
