Castor Oil is considered to be one of the most beneficial natural oils

because of its potent medicinal, antioxidant, and curative properties

It is obtained from the Ricinus communis plant, and it is never used as cooking oil

Here are 12 Healthy Uses for Castor Oil:

  1. Reduces Wrinkles

Use it to reduce scars, skin issues, and wrinkles. Since it is high in elastin and collagen, it helps to rejuvenate the skin. Repeat daily for 4-6 months

  1. Soothes muscle pain

Castor oil relieves the pain in the muscles. So if you have problems with you muscles, use it to solve this issue.

  1. Repairs split hair ends

To nourish you hair and repair the split ends, apply it on dry hair several times daily, when possible

  1. Soothes sunburn

Mix some castor and coconut oil and apply this mixture over the affected areas to calm the sunburns, hydrate the skin, and stimulate the repairing properties of the skin

  1. Nourishes Dry Skin

Castor oil contains unsaturated fats which penetrate deeply into the skin and hydrate it. Apply a thick layer of this oil to the skin to strengthen it and support skin health.

Its properties will also treat corns and calluses, and hydrate the skin of the heels. Soak feet in warm water for 10 minutes then file them with a pumice stone to remove the dry, thick skin.  Then, wash feet and wipe them with a towel. Soak a cotton ball in some castor oil and apply it over the corns or calluses. Secure it with gauze or bandage, or socks and leave it thus overnight. Repeat until you achieve the desired effects
